St. Austin's Catholic identity is the fulcrum of our daily routine. Spiritual formation in our students and our community is part of the mission and values of our School. At St. Austin, this is exemplified in the following ways:

  • outreach to those less fortunate

  • St. Austin students participate daily in morning prayer and Mass or prayer services each Friday

  • Godly Play

  • Faith Families

  • Children of Mary

  • Mass Buddies.

Although St. Austin is a Catholic school, approximately 20% of our student body is non-Catholic. Our faculty, staff and religious on campus recognize and embrace our community's diversity. our student body is diverse in terms of its ethnicity, socioeconomic status, diverse learners.

St. Austin is part of the wider community of the Austin Metropolitan Area,  the Diocese of Austin, the State of Texas and the global network of Catholic schools and educators. We work collaboratively with local organizations, businesses, residents and faith groups to help serve the under-served and make our locality a better place. St. Austin Catholic School students serve our community and Church in many areas, offering more than 1,500 hours of service each year as well as monthly fundraising for organizations such as the Micah 6 Food Pantry, Coats for Kids, St. Louise House and Casa Marianella.
