St. Austin's Catholic identity is the fulcrum of our daily routine. Spiritual formation in our students and our community is part of the mission and values of our School. The development of spiritually mature individuals through our faith serves as the foundation for molding our community in the likeness of our Lord. At St. Austin, this is exemplified in our outreach to those less fortunate, belief in a loving and just God and preparation for sacraments through religious instruction. St. Austin students participate daily in morning prayer and Mass or prayer services each Friday of the school year in addition to Godly Play, Faith Families, Children of Mary and Mass Buddies.
Although St. Austin is a Catholic school, approximately 10% of our student body is non-Catholic. Our faculty, staff and religious on campus recognize and embrace our community's diversity in all its guises and educate all our students to be open to and accepting of different traditions. We celebrate our religious diversity continually through our curricula, World Interfaith Harmony Week services, Week of Prayer for Christian Unity services and our community service programs.
