St. Austin Catholic School Library
All students in Grades Pr-K through 5th visit our still expanding library twice a week to hear stories, learn how to find information, read and discuss literature, and check out books. Middle School students are scheduled for library time during their Language Arts blocks.
Grades 2-5 will be participating in the Junior Great Books program this year and will segue from those stories to class discussions of novels in the spring.
Parents are welcome to browse our collection (we even have a special section on parenting) and may check out materials.
My single biggest goal this year is to have the video collection completely automated, like our book collection.
Volunteers are always welcome.
