Welcome to Kindergarten!
We have a lot in store for our Kindergarten class this week. We are out of school on Monday in celebration of Labor Day. On Tuesday, we have individual picture day. This week we are finishing up our Science and Health discussion of the five senses; the students have very much enjoyed the activities in which they get to identify objects using each sense. We are also learning about caring for and respecting others, including animals. We will discuss the role that pets play in our society and how and why we care for them. In Language Arts and Math, we have been giving lessons in pairs, and the students are mastering the introductory materials.
