Join us for Grandparents' and Special Visitors' Day

February 16, 2018

Please join us for Grands' Day 2018. 

We welcome all grandparents, visitors special to our students and alumni to celebrate our centennial Grands' Day.

7:30 a.m. – Students and Guests begin to arrive at School. Students report to Blacktop.
Guests go to the Gym.
8:15 a.m. – Breakfast Reception for Grandparents and Special Visitors.
8:30 a.m. – Students arrive to the Gym
8:40 a.m. – Welcome and Prayer – Mrs. Tara Cevallos, Principal
8:45 a.m. – Each grade is introduced by the Student Council
  PreK3/PreK 4:   Jesus In The Morning, traditional spiritual                  
  K:  I Am A Promise by Gloria Gaither    
  1st Grade:  Mail Myself To You by Woodie Guthrie    
  2nd Grade: Hakuna Matata, from The Lion King    
  3rd Grade: One Small Voice by Jeff Moss     
  4th Grade: Accentuate The Positive by Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen      
  5th/6th Grades: Make Life A Song About Love by Jean Warren Nichols
  7th/8th Grades: We Are The Light by Jesse Manibussen  
9:05 a.m. – Updates – Ms. Bedina O’Neill, Director of Advancement.
9:10 a.m. – Games – Ms. Lori Jaross – Event Chairperson
9:20 a.m. – Dismissal for Mass – Mrs. Tara Cevallos, Principal
Begins with PreK, their grandparents, special guests and siblings.
Ends with 8th Grade and their grandparents/special guests.
9:30 a.m. – Mass – Fr. Chuck Kullmann, CSP
10:30 a.m. – Dismissal to Classrooms – M.S goes to the Library – Mrs. Tara Cevallos, Principal
Begins with 8th Grade but Grandparents/Special Guests dismiss with youngest student.
Guests spend 15 minute increments per child – announcements will be made to switch.
Grandparents/Special Guests are invited to take photographs with their students on the blacktop.
12.00 p.m. – Formal Dismissal for students who have not already departed with Grandparents or Special Visitors.
12:15 p.m. – Eagles Nest begins for Remaining Students.
